The PG-R is a surfboard designed for performance in everyday waves. Torq has combined the DNA of the Comp and the Summer 5 to create a board that offers the best wave catching and speed generation in weaker surf, but allows tight arcing turns and vertical surfing. The PG-R features a low entry rocker, wide 12 inch mark and concave in the front half which enables this board to plane easily and generate speed in weaker surf. From the mid-point to the tail, the outline curves to a more normal shortboard squash tail, with a single to double concave and a vee through the fins allowing easy rail to rail transitions. The result is a board that will accelerate fast and transfer all the speed into powerful turns and above the lip projection. With 5 Futures fin boxes, the PG-R can be ridden as Quad or Thruster. 5’8 x 20 5/8” x 2 3/8” – 32,2 Lit Content: Board without fins Futures Finboxes TORQ EPOXY COMPOSITE The all new torq TEC lay-up offers the same incredible durability with a new and improved flex pattern. The overall deck and rail lay-up is reduced to a 6oz and 4oz layer which allows the board much greater freedom of twist and flex. A 6oz deck patch ensures the same level of impact resistance, while the addition of a carbon filament stringer adds incredible longitudinal strength and response.
